Habibi is a term of endearment in the Arabic language meaning beloved, sweetheart, my darling… my love. The sense of romance evoked from the name of this new Turkish restaurant is carried through to the space with white curtains fluttering in the breeze as you walk out onto the spacious deck surrounded by large trees. White furniture inside and out compliments the cool, tranquil feeling created by the white pillars, awnings and walls decorated only with a scattering of evocative quotes by Rumi for you to read.
Habibi Turkish Restaurant is an authentic Turkish experience for the whole family with traditional favourites such as slow-roasted doner kebabs, lamb and beef shawarmas marinated in turkish spices, kofte meatballs or shish kebabs served on their own or in platters of 2, 4 or 6 people. Turkish Chefs Osman and Ilyaz Abi recommend their specialty, Abi’s Signature Pide… Turkish flatbread with specially-prepared ground beef and lamb topped with cheese. These little boat-like breads are absolutely divine - there is also the Classic Pide or the Veggie version. For those with a less adventurous palate, there are also pizza’s available.
Take a walk down the tiled walkway through the Secret Garden filled with cherry blossom trees or let the kids enjoy a ride with the friendly pony, Bonny while you relax on the restaurant deck above.
